🎭 The Charlie Show Try a Code

The True Story

A Show That Never Aired

Filmed in a converted soundstage in the late 70s, The Charlie Show was a children's program unlike anything before it: a muppet musical where every episode ended with a real cipher the kids at home had to crack.

Three episodes were shot. Only one ever aired. The master tapes, the scripts, and even most of the puppets vanished in a fire at the storage lot in '83. For forty years, that was the end of the story.

Then a single reel surfaced in a Prague flea market in 2023 — and on the back of the can, in pencil, three ciphers. Caesar. Atbash. Morse. The crew had hidden the keys in the show itself.

What you're looking at is what we managed to recover. Six characters, three codes, one stage. Welcome to the lost show.
